Unlike Frankfurt's "On Truth" I think Millers piece stressed the importance of emotion to a larger degree. The emotional truth about the husband seemed to be more important to Miller than the facts of the matter. Personally I feel that its important to get both the facts and the emotional truth correct when writing. Whenever I begin to write something about my childhood I look at the facts and if my memory is shady or incomplete (as it usually is) then I make sure the reader knows that while I felt that it was one way it really could have been completely opposite.
